What is so good about the Playstation 1?
Personally, I don’t even think so. Nintendo 64 was more recognizable because it has the first 3D and good Legend of Zelda games, Super Mario 64, Paper Mario, Mario Party, and even Donkey Kong and Star Fox 64! Proof:
How many games are rememberable on Nintendo 64? Good.
How many games are rememberable on the Playstation? 0!
I rest my case. Nintendo 64 is much better because most gamers are kids, and kids don’t like blood and gore on the Playstation.
Kids don’t like blood and gore meaning kids under 10.
According to gametrailers, Playstation was #1 on the list. It stinks. And Smash Bros. I forgot to include, and it wasn’t on the PS1.
Hmm interesting question, but you are taking sides instead of being objective, well whatever.
I have only seen a PS1 once in my 16 years.

yeah, I can’t recall much games on that console.
Yeah, even though the PS1 had better technology the Nintendo 64 won out and had very good games
(Basically the best Zelda, the best Starfox and the unforgettable Mario 64), the controller was weird, but hey, I bet that has been Nintendo’s signature all these years.
I don’t quite get the last point though, Nintendo also has had bloody (or M rated) games on their consoles (resident evil, and some more that I’m not quite sure it they are bloody but they are M, like Perfect Dark).

I like all 3 next generation consoles
but I stick to Nintendo consoles
(my first one was the gamecube and recently i got a wii)
Playstation has good games too
i might get a ps3 someday

Absolutely, in fact, I think that the term “gamer” in general should mean kids to adults, not only adults, since games were made for them (kids) back to the Pong times (hence the term video GAME), so I don’t know what the “hardcore” 48 year olds who play Gears of War all day are on about when they look down on younger players and call them names for liking some game they don’t.
